The first STEER Heads’ Conference April 2018
Richard Backhouse, Principal of Berkhamsted Group of Schools, welcomed Heads on 25th April 2018 to the first STEER Heads’ conference.
The conference covered how to move toward proactive pastoral care, equipping tutors with better pastoral skills; signposting whole year or boarding house cultures; pastoral reporting to governors; national trends emerging in adolescent social-emotional development.
